Hi, my name is Chris Noon and I’m the Network Technical Lead at Claranet. I focus on Networking technologies, specialising in NSX and the VMware suite.
I started as a traditional Network Engineer, working with physical Switches, Routers, Firewalls and Load Balancers. In 2014 I got into the virtualisation world, primarily around Networking, however, my interests don’t stop there. I find the whole virtualisation piece fascinating, from Network to Compute to Storage, not to mention all the complementing products.
I’m an avid Basketball fan, primarily watching the NBA. At 6 foot 7 inches (198 cm for you Europeans), I play the game in Gibraltar and Spain. I’ve also taken up running and completed my first half marathon in 2019. I plan to complete a Spartan sometime in the near future!
As a blogging virgin, I hope to write useful content surrounding my personal and technological experiences. Hopefully, you will all find it helpful/interesting.
