Day 2 VMworld – The vCommunity perspective

The YouTube ID of Insert video URL or ID here is invalid. It’s been a wonderful but at the same time very long and tiring day for me today. The sessions attended have been awesome, the people around me have been ‘super’ but unfortunately, last Monday night, I had the excellent -ahum- idea, to only drink soda drinks. Needless to say, I didn’t sleep that well on the night from Monday going on Tuesday. Oh well.. I have learned from that mistake 🙂  .

The vCommunity post

Today, for the most time, I have been thinking and pondering about writing an article about the general session. Also about how the technical sessions I have attended today, fit in the vision gospelled in the general session.

But let’s discard that idea. There are enough blogpost about VMware’s vision. Instead, let’s have a look at the vCommunity at VMworld.

When you walk through the main entrance and walk towards the solution exchange, there is this kinda orange area which you pass on your left. It is the blogger area, vBrownbag area, vCommunity area, VMware Code area, whatever you want to call it. It is filled with community people passionate about sharing VMware technology tips and tricks. People who like to share knowledge. All of you, please pass by, if even to quickly say hello and pick up some NSX, cloud or any other stickers on our tables.

On the left of the community area you will find vCommunity sessions hosted by vBrownbag and on the right you will find sessions hosted by VMware Code. Do yourself a favor and say hello to us and become our next community family member. We’d love to welcome you.
